Debating best practices and future scenarios
The Regional Committee for Communications of Lazio (CORECOM Lazio) in collaboration with the Center de Médiation de l'Europe, de la Méditerranée et du Moyen Orient - Italian Delegation (CEM), is the promoter of a series of seminars focused on civil and commercial mediation and conciliation in the telecommunications sector. The seminars will take place in Rome, at the premises of CORECOM Lazio in Via Lucrezio Caro, 67.
The four seminars will address the current issues that mediators, conciliators, representatives of the parties, and consumers’ associations meet every day in resolving disputes regarding telecommunications contracts.
From the regulatory principles ruling the field to the recent decisions of the Italian courts; from the procedures in force and administered by Corecom Lazio to the possible evolution of the services offered to protect users' rights. These four meetings aim to create an opportunity of discussion and exchange of ideas among the main players in view to enhance the protection of citizens’ rights as well as the activity of the professionals and the carriers involved in this specialized area of ADR.
The long-standing experience of the speakers by CEM - the President Avv. Federico Antich and Avv. Claudia Caluori - in the field of civil and commercial mediation and conciliation procedures, together with the heavy caseload handled by Corecom Lazio, which manages over ten thousand conciliation requests every year, offers a unique opportunity to those wishing to debate this topic both at the theoretical and the practical level.
The participation to the four seminars will grant n. 8 CPD acknowledged by the CNF (The National Bar Council), and is valid to fulfill the mandatory two-year training requirements for lawyers-mediators and also for Professional Trainers in mediation under the D.M. No. 180/2010 and subsequent amendments.
